The position requires the ability to diagnose and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems. Requires the ability to communicate findings effectively to customers and make appropriate recommendations based on those findings. Service Technicians are required to work a regular work schedule and work overtime as required. The technicians will wear a uniform and conduct themselves in a professional manner. The Service Technician position requires a high level of documentation that must be completed and processed in a timely manner. Requirements:

• Min 2 years field service experience preferred. Install experience a plus but no required
• Must have basic tools
• On-call duties, to include evenings, weekends and holidays on a rotation basis
• Working knowledge of regional code requirements
• Proficient at diagnosis and repair of residential and light commercial equipment
• Complete tasks and work independently without supervision
• Valid EPA Certification & Mech IV
• Excellent customer relations skills and the ability to think outside of the box

• NATE/NCI Certifications a plus but not required

• Record, organize and file customer interactions and profile/account changes accurately.

• Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.

Customer Service Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school degree or equivalent
• Previous experience in customer support, client services, sales, or a related field
• Excellent at communicating over the phone and handling phone systems.
• Basic computer skills and experience with tracking and recording call information, filing documents or updating customer profiles/accounts.
• Able to concentrate on multiple problems at once.
