a week ago My husband and I had them install a new air cooling unit in our home last summer and we were very pleased with the entire process. The office staff was very friendly as was the owner who came to our home to give us an estimate. Clinton, the technician who installed our unit, was very personable and helped explain how to operate the unit as well as maintain it. We had an issue with the thermostat going blank a few weeks later and they came back and fixed it at no charge. The unit worked great all summer and we were very happy with their service.
THE RESULTS! Clinton, the tech, arrived with a smile on his face and was eager to start the job. He commenced the work immediately! He was extremely personable. He was joined by Sawyer Electric Ray & Ty who had also previously done electrical work for us. Midway through the job, Basset Heating owner, Mike came by to inspect the progress. I just happened to ask if we needed to have a new thermostat . Mike looked at the quote, and said, I dont see it here, but Ill have Clinton install a new one anyway no charge. (Is that class, or what!!) When finished, Clinton spent over a half-hour walking throught the warranty, warnings, and inspection/test of the new install. PROFESSIONAL! PROFESSIONAL! PROFESSIONAL! THIS is the company that you want to service your heating and A/C.PERIOD! We were initially introduced to Basset through Ty & Ray from Sawyer Electric. We were having some electrical work done and they saw a brochure on air conditioning lying on a table, asking if we were looking to have a/c work done. They couldnt have been more spot-on! Having met Mike, we were convinced that no one else would do the work. (A competing company supplied a quote, during which the salesperson kept saying how difficult the job would be, that he would only supply an estimate, and intimated that the job would likely go much higher. 3 days later the competitor finally emailed a quote, which ended up being more than a $1000 higher than Basset!!) Suffice it to say, BASSET HEATING & A/C is THE company to work for you! (Our Chows even loved Clinton, the tech!)

Just want to let you know that Clinton left our home a few minutes ago. He was such a pleasure having in our home today. He is very professional, truly enjoys what he is doing, and does a great job! We especially enjoyed his kind, helpful, and very friendly way of dealing with us. We are sure you are very thankful to have such a fine employee on your staff. We feel the same way about the two electricians that came out from Sawyer Electric. Very nice gentlemen; very friendly and helpful.The A/C system is running now and so far it feels wonderful. We will let you know if we feel there are any problems with cooling the floors consistently. We opted to wait on the aeroseal to see how the system is working. We will close any vents we feel arent needed, like we do with the heat in the winter.Thank you again for a very pleasant day!
March 03, 2012Great Go To Folks!!!. Well talk about great job! Never called them before, but I will next time too. Mike responded well to my request for a call back. I was without heat on a 40 deg. day and needed some expert help ASAP. All though he was not able to show up immediately, he was able to talk me through some technical issues and we discovered the problem after great patience on his part.Folks if you need a quality company with a great attitude, having your satisfaction as their priority, these guys are it.thanks again
I am in the process or purchasing a new home (first time-yay!) & there have been issues with the furnace not working properly when the inspections are being done. The furnace would turn on but only stay on for a few minutes, even though the temp that was set, had not been obtained. My realtor said they would get it taken care of, as I was naturally very upset & this is delaying me closing on the house. They had a company come out 2 times, each time saying they had fixed it & each time guess whatit wasnt fixed. My boyfriends Mom mentioned to me that I should find someone to fix it & just bill the realtor & she had used Basset Heating before & highly recommended them. So, I called them & they were awesome over the phone, even though admittedly I may have been a little rude-as I was frustrated. They were able to come out with in an hour & look at it. Mike (who is the owner, I believe) showed up & was super nice & found the problem in a matter of minutes & had it fixed not long after. Im still sitting here asking myself what the heck the other company was doing?!? Mike even chatted with me about this being my first home that Im buying & shared a story of the first home he bought. I just thought that was awesome. He didnt rush off after the job was done, he talked with me & it actually helped calm me down. Im very high strung right now, ha ha ha :p Anyway what I am trying to say through all this is that I was truly satisfied with the service I got from Basset. They went above & beyond & that is why I was willing to take time to write this reviewso that others can see & hopefully use them as well. Thanks again Mike!
Been having problems,with the furnace, on and off the last couple years had a few different companys out to look at it , All wanted to make expensive repairs that were not needed!!! I was fairly certain it just needed a good cleaning having done some research online. Mike came out spent the better part of an hour taking the furnace apart cleaning each burner! Went out of his way to give me a great price Almost felt guilty for all the work he did! As of now the furnace works great ! If you want an honest company , Use Basset, could not have been more pleased!!!!!
